Jalalabad State Medical University

Jalalabad State Medical University (JASU), named after Bekmamat Osmonov, is one of Kyrgyzstan's premier medical institutions established on April 2, 1993. The university has grown from its foundation as a medical faculty to become a comprehensive institution offering education in medicine, electronics, energy, construction, and agro-industrial complex.

With approximately 10,000 students including about 3,000 international students from countries like India, Nepal, Pakistan, Turkey, and others, JASU fosters a vibrant multicultural environment. The university boasts a highly qualified teaching staff of over 700 educators, including 100 doctors of science and professors, and 216 candidates of science.
